Hello, I'm a fish novice with an abundance of fish.

Currently I have 3 active fish tanks:

#1 is a 10 gal with 4 african ciclid mixes and a pleco
#2 is a 30 gal with 4 angles, 2 Banded Leporinus, and a pleco
#3 is a 120 gal with 2 oscars, 1 albino oscar, 2 jack dempseys, 1 convict, 3 botai loaches, a fether fin catfish, a blue knight lobster

Happy to be here!!!

Welcome!

Just some advice:

3 oscars probably won't work long term in a 120. I think 2 would even be pushing it.
and what type of pleco is in each tank, because commons get too big for a 10 and a 30.

oh and watch out for those banded leps, crazy fin nippers and grow up to a foot long, so I don't think they'll work in the 30 for long.

Have fun on this site!

Welcome new Dude. I hope you surf the forum a lot and learn plenty about fish keeping to help your fishes live a long healthy life.

Mr Moon there gave some wonderful advise to help you on your way.

I have learned to keep away from the smaller tanks here and basically converted them to grow-out and snail tanks.

Have fun and I hope to see you around.

welcome to mfk... nice to meet you..

:welcome: PlaneGod ! :) Just curious, how much did you pay for the Blue Knight Lobster, and how big was it when you bought it? They are so beautiful! Got any photos to post, please?

i think you be ok with your curent stocklist as long as there isnt any agression when the jacks get bigger. You could use a bigger tank but i think yours will be fine. just keep alot of hideing spots exc caves. wellcome to the board. Dont mind everyone who swears a guppy needs atleast a 100 gal lol <joke>
