Hello Everyone,
I would like to say thanks for allowing me to join your site. I am from central Pennsylvania and I have some experience with raising aquarium fish from the little guppies to 12inch Oscars and some outdoors pond Koi. I really am starting to dislike the koi species seems like they just want to die all the time no matter what I do....so I am avoiding them like the plague! Right now I am in the works of a nice little project in my basement where I am setting up a nice little 250 gallon indoor pond and the fish I strive after for this will be cold/fresh water tolerable species that can coexist. So far I have the tank in place and some small feeder goldfish have been in place for a 2 week span so far so tank setup. I would like to add some local species to it as well. I am surrounding it with field stone from the fields around my house,so far so good. My children love it as much as I do and that's part of the reason for it as well. I hope to have a very pleasant experience with all of you.
