Nice discus. I wish I had some discus

Thanks! I have done a lot of reading on them but there are always new things to learn especially from people with experience.

Are they in a tank of there own or do they have tankmates?

With juvis it is best to have temp at 84 degrees, at least 2x 50% water changes weekly, 5 small feeding of top quality food daily. This will help them to grow large. Most that are in community tanks do not grow to there full poteintial.

They are in a 120 and there is a motoro ray and a lima. I have been feeding them freeze dried blood worms, Omega One protein flakes (which they haven't been paying too much attention to) and frozen brine shrimp. The only thig I have seen them eat is the frozen brine shrimp. I was going to also order some black worms. Their tank is at 82 degrees, should I bump it up? I usually do 1 50% water change a week but I can do two if that would be best.

I don't have a ray but from what I understand they a huge waste producers and you should probably be doing 2x 50% a week as it is. Best bet would be to monitor your nitrates and keep them down to 10ppm. For the discus 84 degrees is better, not sure if that is good for the ray though.

For feeding I would mix the brine shrimp with what ever else you are offering, gradually reducing the amount of brine shrimp in the mix, this will hopefully get them eating other foods.
