No casualties so far and no more dead hemiodus. Some of them will eat pellets, but they're not smashing the surface like the ones I've had before, maybe because it's a tall tank for their size. Any tips on getting them hitting the surface besides dangling feeders? I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. I might try dangling some chopped up silversides. They're still a little shy, though, too.
Grab some silver dollars. They are great teacher fish. After 2 weeks my little 3” bass are hitting straight dry pellets so hard they are already splashing water and pellets out of the top of the tank. Once they start seeing the others hit the surface it causes a reaction that they have to compete with the others (usually)
