Is that a typo error in your thread title? Is that stand for a 180 or an 18000!! Either way it'll hold the weight! Haha. I'm like you though, total overkill, rather safe than sorry.

lol, that's how I feel. It's all scrap wood from other projects, so didn't cost me extra, why not be safe right :) .

Definitely, would rather be siting in my den enjoying the tank rather than wondering if the stand will hold up.
