We recently moved to a new home and after unpacking and getting settled in, I decided to turn our entire furnace room into a stingray room. After setting up shelving for storage, I took the shelving down (that I just put up) and re-arranged my tanks to make room for 2 more 400 gallon tanks.

Just need to get some 1" foam and 1/4" plywood tomorrow to lay down on top of the stand before the first tank comes on Wednesday. Glass tank weighing almost 600 lbs. Should be fun getting down the stairs - I hope it fits!!
Anyone available to stop by Wednesday night??
I haven't finished building the second stand as it will be in the way of bringing the first tank in. Hoping to get it on Friday.

I know - been too busy working on a fish room. Once i get the fishroom done I have to do something with the stuff I took off the shelving that is now piled in the middle of the basement family room.

Fishroom first - gotta get the priorities straight!

Hi Mike.
Looks like a lot of work but well worth the effort.
Tanks you have moved in already look pristine! and the occupants look settled, love your blackies, they are at a distance on pics but you can see the size of their spots..quality rays!
Good luck with the project, and keep us all up to speed with its progress.
Interesting thread!
