A few years back it was Fly River Turtles, now it seems to be running the gamete with Cichla spp.

What do you think will be the next big craze?

When I first joined 3 years ago...the trend seems to look like this...

2005: Dats

2006: Cichlas

2007: Gulpers

2008: Armatus

I think we are already in it. Plantinum species, also stingrays

not so sure about platinum species, but people are definitely starting to have a craze over stingrays

Rays are definitely coming on strong! I bought a couple.

As far as fish trends go, I see rays winning the trophy...There as been a local boom in the quantity of different L(plecostomo) species around here...

deffinetly rays. i thought it used to be dats but now its rays.

100% Rays

Its crazy though, i just got back into the hobby after being out of it for 4 years and we are keeping turtles with fish?!?!? That was like a big no no.

New species everyday.

Yeah rays are cool but wait until something odd gets discovered.
