I think 90% chances that the fish will go blind.

did ya bump up the temp and add the right meds? if its only day two it may still have a chance to pull through and not go blind. does look like a pretty bad case tho.

that looks like fog eye..
to fix it use mealafix and some salt...and it should clear up
if not send him over to me...dont kill it..imo

The pic doesn't show the 3D view of the eye, it's more serious than a foggy eye

The outer layer (lense) of the eye is gone (concave), and the core (pupil) is opaque

How can a predator hunt without it's eye, unlike catfish that have whiskers???

Isn't this more like a slow torturing death, since it cannot locate the source of food???

If it's the surface layer that's experiencing the opacity, curing the fish of the pathogen can lead to the eye's surface layer sloughing off and being replaced by a healthier surface layer. Are you treating with a sulfacetamide medication? They have these meds for fish. You can also apply sulfa. sodium ophthalmic ointment directly to the eye. This meds white wax base will hold the med to the eye long enough for ample medication absorption.

I was using API fungus cure, but I was out and my lfs got vandalize (http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2010/03/04/13105881-qmi.html), which I couldn't get any cheap med, so I switch to Melafix
