I'm definitely not trying to start a war here. Let's make sure we are respectful of one another's experiences.;) This would be interesting to see if there are some major variants in the species depending on place of capture. I'd like to see pics of what 4wheelin has too because I think this would expand all our knowledge as hobbyists as to variants of species.

If my fish is a hybrid, then so be it. It's still cool. But if it is truly wc as my friend claims and as our brother, 4Wheelin says, than that would make for some cool breakthroughs in the hobby don't you think? I mean the cyano cichlid as we know it may actually have a cousin that scientists may not have described. Imagine a new variant called called 4Wheelini:ROFL::screwy:LOL. But seriously, wouldn't that be cool? I mean, some sources say that cyano is the ONLY cichlid found in the US. Could they be wrong? There is always a possibility. Things that may have been right in front of us were overlooked simply because we just took certain pieces of information for granted and closed our minds off to the possibility of the presence of other things. It would not be the first time the scientific community changed their perspective of an accepted axiom.

Enough said, if my fish is not what 4Wheelin has, than that's the end of the discussion. However, if it matches, then rock on:headbang2let's get it patented:grinno:

wow thanks 4wheelin. I know it's a lot of trouble to go to but with all the other people's posts, I'd bet I'm not the only one who would like to see them. :)

6 bar, I wasn't meaning to sound disrespectful. Sorry if I came across that way.
