I got my female a f1 huge hump male creamsicle midas and she chose this guy. I did a large water change and there was a huuge rumble over who got to breed with her and he won.

I guess you're right but this is the sort of pairing hybrid lovers like to see I think... Both fish are really nice regardless.

Thanks all. Although dont get your hopes up a pair has never spawned in this tank. To many tank mates. And as you can see she insists on trying to lay eggs inside that tiny pot. I gave her other things but nope, has to be that pot. but ill keep my fingers crossed and let you guys know what happened.
