So, this is my first big "build" thread. I will update it regularly with pictures. So, here goes. I have been wanting a pond FOREVER and i finally am doing it:) The pond itself will be 10x6x3.5! I will be building the base from plywood and then adding a dirt bottom (below liner) INSOLATION, and then, Pond Liner. Not sure of filtration right now, but i wanna make it come down a little "waterfall" when flowing back to the pond (waterfall made from rocks i find at local stream.) I also wont be done till around march. So, here are some pics of the "Pond Building Site":)

I need suggestions as on stocking. I live in MD so, pretty cold winters. I was thinking a Native pond with some sunfish and catfish and some bass. But, what other fish could survive the winter?

That looks like a AWESOME spot for a pond! Gonna be amazing man. I like the idea of a native pond!
 
id do some bullhead and large gamefish, but id make it deeper especially if it freezes over in winter.
