Dear Members of the MFK Garmy,

We are recruiting fine members to write and produce detailed, comprehensive and accurate Garticles. These Garticles will be stickied either as a stand alone thread, or added to the Official Garticles.

This advancement in the Garmy is a new one and is at it's developmental stages. Hence, the process and requirements of writing these Garticles will not yet be revealed. However, we would like to first get some response with reGARds to what topics you would like to have.

Here are some that we're already thinking of:
--Species Guides
--Growth Guides (+ growth Blogs)
--Conversion to prepared foods guide (+ conversion blogs)
--ID Thread

Should you have any ideas or comments, do feel free to post them up.

I will do all I can to help Alex, Just now real busy. I have to work on an artical for Tropical fish hobbist and their IMPORT REPORT Colomn of the magazine. When I have time I will do all I can for all of you here too. But now I really want this artical, so I need to shine on my 1 chance. Thanks, John
 
so basically you want us to right a detailed essay about a specific gar?

why cant we have a mod like this in the aro section. people get so anal over there haha
 
Cool Beanz! I want to write up a garticle on Shortnose Gars. I'm sure there are member's with more experience, but I got drive, dedication, enthusiasm and a killer smile that puts me over the top. Lol! Seriously I was thinking about keeping a full blown Journal on here about my experiences with these guys. From my stream lining my collection to focus on them. I would keep monthly progress reports on size, temperament tank upgrades feeding conversions, decorations and compatible tankmates. Plus I plan on taking lot's of photo's to include in the Garticle. I've already started tracking progress in a black and white composition book. Just waiting on 2 more things before I wanted to start the thread a DSLR and 2 more Shortnose Gars due to be delivered friday. Hoping to get the camera in a month maybe less. Bye the way Xander what do you thing about a Canon Rebel T1I as my first DSLR? That's currently what I'm leaning too.
