you have with you a fox, a chicken and small bowl of rice. you need to get across a river but your canoe can only hold yourself and one other item or animal. carry 2 things and you will sink in the river. how do you get all things across without one eating the other? and remember to avoid leaving 2 things across the river where one will eat the other while coming back for the last thing. example, if you take the fox first, the chicken will eat the rice or if you leave the fox with the chicken across the river to come back for the rice, the fox will eat the chicken.
