I might get some hate for my set up, but I have a 75 gallon grow out tank that has a 5 inch L600 Pleco, a 3 inch Lima Shovelnose Catfish, a 12 inch Freshwater moray eel and 4 discus. Everyone is doing great and everyone gets a long I’m waiting for the Pleco, eel, and Shovelnose to grow before I put them in a bigger tank. I know the discus prefer 84-86 degrees. But my other guys prefer it closer to 80 degrees, I currently have it at 81 degrees. Should I go higher for the discus? Or keep it lower for the other guys? Thoughts concerns? Thanks!

Imo and experienced adult discus don't need high temp warm water. When I was keeping discus i keep the temp at 80. For young discus growouts however I would keep it warmer. 80 keeps everyone happy for me. But everyone believes different things. Just do what works for u is what I say.
