Hey all not sure if this has been done before so I thought I'd start a thread for pics of the full grown fresh water monsters all in one Place. Feel free to post only full grown monsters of their species though, be glad to see a 3ft dovii or 8 inch guppy lol, prefere if there was an object or person in the pic for reference though, enjoy!

That Pike is amazing as well as the last snakehead with the iridescence. Wow!
That Wels is not very big LOL

My LFS once had one of these
A giant mekong catfish, It was only a 10 inch juvie but who the hell has a big enough tank for one of these monsters

Funny, everyone noticed the snakehead, me too! Good thing the snakehead is legal here and we still can wish to house even if it's a meter long. We just need tight, heavy and sturdy tank covers.

I'd be interested in a giant extraordinary betta haha! Post a pic of a big wels then dude, that's the idea of the thread! And exactly jordan, most what you'll see will be a smaller brother, the iridecent shark still a five footer in the wild but stunt really easily some some stop growing around 10inch even in big tanks! Not the point though! Although I am a hipercrit as I have a 9inch giant snakehead in my 300g with some cichlids but hey we'll all do as we please... We all know 99 percent of the red tails sold never see a tank bigger than 180 6x2x2, right? Could you get that red tail above in a 6x2x2? Do red tails stunt at all? Anyone?

I think the giant carp is a proper beast aswell! Really like its retro fish shape, don't look real!
