how come no one has any idea about the true pure red devils not the mixes at the store??

I was told these red devils are wild caught anyone who has any experience I mean like real experience on the true red devil exist anymore?

these are wild caught and look nothing like what we usually see

I grew out some pure labiatus about 10 years ago, they have a more pointy profile, not as much as a red bay snook, but a lot more pointier than a midas or the crosses that are commonly available now.

They DO get a nuchal hump, but it is only a slight hump, I had one male who sported a small bump. they are a very different fish, in my experience not as aggressive as Midas, but thats also on a fish to fish basis.
 
I had three WC Labiatus, down to one male. He seems to be doing pretty good. I have had him for 7 months or so, starting to bulk up a little these days. Wild caught can vary a lot in looks, orange, black, grey and so on. I am sure profiles will vary as well. There is a member on here RD, that has posted some very informative info on these guys.
 
that's nice his rd looks real but they are also grey and light colored did you see the young rd in my video? they are wild caught and look like trimacs kinda?

I want the red devil he has one that actually looks like it came from hell will these wild caught fry turn out red and black like his? they have the V point but don't have giant lips
