Some new pics of the pond show casing one of my GMl's (my strain of flowerhorn if you were wondering) who calls it home.
these are just random shots and the one with water ripples I though looked cool
I call this the reef because when watching this pond interact it is just like a little mini reef! You could never guess just by viewing the first couple shots that there is 18 fish in there some are quite big
residents are as follows:
1 6.5'' Female Cuban
1 4.5'' Male Cuban
1 4'' Male Flowerhorn
1 13'' Common Pleco
1 4.5'' Pleco (not sure what L# ?)
1 3'' Bushy Nose Pleco
3 3'' Ripper's 3rd Gen Salvini/Con crosses
2 2.5'' Skunk Botia's
2 2.5'' YoYo Botia's
4 5-6'' Tiger Botia's
1 2'' Umbee
pic taking is not easy here tricking them to come out when you want with bits of food, only some come out, and you are always over head. Plus the way this is set up you guys are only viewing a little more than half the reef. The rest is covered and hidden by water ripple/current even I can't see to well lol. Did my best was able to get some of them. Could not get any of the skunks or yoyo's this time but did get a half shot of the male Cuban and that is hard to do, because he stays on the other side that is hidden. Away from the larger female who runs this reef hahah.
