My first wet/dry http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16060
works good but I made some minor boo boos, that im now going to rectify.

Firstly my chioce of a spray bar without a drip plate didnt work well as the 3/8" holes clogged with stuff fairly quick, so off went the spray bar an in went a drip plate. But My thought that Small slots would distribute water better than holes was a bad Idea.

I Have two ways that im fixing this. I have two diff discharges for over the drip plate, One with a 1" bulkhead centered, an one with 2 1/2" bulkheads evenly spaced (im not sure which im going to be using yet).
Plus I made a nice drip platewith 3/16" holes an a Pondmaster coarse foam, for a first stage removal of large debris,

Next im going to be making the Bio area bigger 12" instead of 8" (pics to come when I do it). Im also going to be bracing all of the dividers (which were only held inplace by silicone).

An finally My use of a standard ball valve came back to bite me as I realized that if the pump dies or If I ever need to move the tank an filter Id have to cut the entire discharge setup apart, so thats being replaced with a Tru Union ball valve.
