Well let's try this thread for a second time:nilly:, lol. I think I will save it on word or something just in case. It's okay though.:)

Well I posted an add on craiglist not too long ago saying that I can take any fish if you can't house them anymore, and try to rehome them at a later time, just email me what fish and the size and I'll see what I can do.

A couple from Mansfield, Ohio emailed and said they had two Oscars. So I drove there(left at 5pm on Saturday and got back at 8pm) and spent 15 minutes driving around the house. I couldn't read their number anywhere, then I called and they went outside. Finally I found them. The guy went in and got the two Oscars while I talked to the woman about her 5 dogs and whatnot. I left with the two Oscars in a bucket, she said they had them for a year and a half. They were nice, didn't know how to keep them properly but I'm sure they tried. She said they were also fed feeders.:( I got home and could tell because when I netted them into the tank they weighed at least a pound and a half and they were only 8 inches tops!!! I also can tell that they were stunted. The albino tiger bottom fins are all curled up and small unlike the tiger. Her lip is also a pink for some reason.

I'll get pics of them soon guys, I'm glad I got to them in time. Thanks Becky for the Oscars:D I'll try and get them healthy and see what I can do.

Now to save this to a word document, I don't want to type this for a third time.:)

I guess you will have a lot of oscars, pacus and rtc:s in your tanks for awhile now then.. I am sure those Oscars have come to a good home now.
Are you gonna try to find a new home for them or will you keep them?

Well got some pics up. Their enjoying their new home. I'm going to name the albino "pink lips" because her lips are still pink. She swims around like any other Oscar and always wants food. Very friendly Oscar she is. With being cooped up in a smaller tank and her fins frayed and stunted, she still looks happy as ever. The tiger is a bit skittish, just hides behind the trees. He will get better though.

I've also been treating with salt and Melafix for the fins.

And the bullhead catfish. He was pissed the first day when the Oscars came. Just chilling on his fav rock then these two weird fish just pass by, he went up and freaked out and went full speed to the other side of the tank. He's better now.

As you can see, the brown rock is his fav, lol. Will update later.

nice save.

I think the tiger is actually a wild O. The Eyespots on the dorsal fin are said to indicate this, as well as the greenish color. He looks a bit like my Peru Oscar. Nice pickup. I'd hang on to that one, there.

I think the albino has it also, I'll check. Never knew this, the green could be from the algae lol. Thanks though.

The only thing is their 18 months old, they should be way bigger, that's all. Thanks though, their looking better each day. WC's will have two be more with two Oscars and a bullhead in a 56, lol. But worth it.

Also the tigers are are bulged out. IDK why at all, but their bulging out. I will get pics.
