The right planted substrate?

I've been researching to setup a tiny 55 gallon planted tank in my room (all I have space for) and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using this substrate?

My question is.. is it any good or is there any better out there?

I've used it, have in two of my tanks . . . it works very well, but there are less expensive alternatives . . . I suggest you check out threads in the Planted tank forum, you will find many options
