The right pleco for my tank

Hey Guys quick ? WHat plecos would be ok with a vieja hybrid, red devil (8"),albino oscar (10"), marble cat fish (12") 3 jack demps, venustus (6") and aurautus.... My vieja ate my tiger pleco eyes out so i need a pleco that can handle itself with large agressive fish... I was thinking a leopard cactus. any thoughts guys... Where could i get these cool plecos lfs doesn't have anything like this....

I went with a Marble Sailfin to go with my Midas. It is a pretty common pleco to find and not very expensive, also get pretty big.

I have hiding spots so my pleco does not feel stressed and can get away when it feels like it. The eyes are hard to protect if the pleco has no where to hide so make sure to create a cave for him.

Another pleco I wanted to try with my Midas was a Rhino pleco but I saw my sailfin first and it had awesome coloration so I got him instead.

I'd avoid this one as they are not cheap.

Sounds like any pleco would be at risk of problems with the tankmates.

I'd go with the cheaper commons

I wouldnt add any pleco if i have a Vieja that pluck out eyes..

Vieja are extremely aggressive... and plecos dont fair too well with that.. Unless ur have L-155 Adonis... THAT is a true pleco that can defend itself.. or the Monster Spiny Pleco..

aggreed, i just rehomed a Vieja at 10" for he kept bugging my O.
He also fought my 12" hypostomus every night over the zuchinni.
I wouldn't take the risk of the pleco losing his eyes.
