The Pacific Coast Cichlid Association is proud to announce Mr. Rich Borstein,Chicago, Illinois, as our speaker on Dec 11, 2010.
Mr.Rick Borstein is the Webmaster of the Greater Chicago Cichlid Association (GCCA) and President of the Federation of American Aquarium Societies (FAAS). Mr. Borstein was the Chairman of the successful 2006 American Cichlid Association Convention held in Chicago, IL. He has spawned over 175 species of cichlids and is one of only ten people to hold the title of Master Breeder in the GCCA. His basement fishroom has 28 tanks ranging in size from 5 gallons to 125 gallons. Although mainly a cichlid fan, he is also interested in goodeids and . . . anything else that makes a good dither for cichlids.
In "The Road to Master Breeder", Mr. Rick Borstein will share quality photographs, diagrams, tips, and techniques to help you get more out of your fishroom . . . and more spawns from your cichlids. You'll learn about his preferred products and why he uses them. Also included in the talk are some do-it-yourself project ideas. Talk content is suitable for both cichlid neophytes and more advanced hobbyists.
