Eken53, yes, I just know young RTG needs to use white BG...someone told me to change it to white aweek ago.

I believe in this method also. If I had a young Gold (RTG or XB), I would also put it in a white tank to help the shine level. I would keep it in a white environment until 14inch, then move it to a darker environment to solidify the color.
