my 125 at feeding time, the fish seen are a thai silk strain flowerhorn, four other hybrids that I understand the Taiwanese call kirin parrots, a young Amphilophus labiatus (more likely than not a midas cross) that I got as a rescue last week, and a school of 5 Leptobarbus hoevenii, and of course my very rare and exotic Felis intankus

The hybrids all came from cichlidsrule

Very cool. I liked the short body that crept in there at the last minute.

The short bodied ones are the ones I've come to understand are called kirin parrots if you go far enough east.

Tom got them in labeled as short bodied red texas, a little research with a conscripted friend who can read Mandarin got me the information that the solid black flowerline allegedly defines them as a separate strain. I'm new to hybrids and honestly I think the names and strains are a huge crock to be brutally honest, the hell if I see any resemblance to the mythical Japanese dragonhorse... horsedragon.. whatever it is they put on their beer. Great fish though I'm very happy with them.

just realized I misspelled Tom's screenname, cichlidsrool
