Yesterday I went to the LFS to check on their new arrivals of "sabretooth tetras" not knowing what I would find under a generic name. They took me to a backroom were I saw about 8 Payara 1" or less perhaps the size of a guppy. Long bodied no black spots, my 1st thought Rhaph's, but at that size I am unclear if an markings are present from birth or if they develop spots and color with size. When I bought my Scomb at 2-3"
his spots were barely present but visible. Can anybody shed some lite on this for me ? If they are Rhaph's I'll be getting 3 or more in a month or so.
Also was told that theres been so much rain in S/A that spawning is occurring early this year - any validity to that?
