I've searched through the forum and can't find a thread dedicated to spearfishing, I've seen a few asking if anyone's done it, but thats about it. Anyway, I've put some of these pics in another thread but this is my biggest hobby.

The tuna was a hell of a ride 625 lbs, caught off the coast of New Zealand.

I have some Bermuda trophies I'll have to throw up later.

Thanks, I'm going to hopefully get a few others uploaded when I get home

why hide the faces? what gun did you get the tuna with?

i been spearing for the past 8 years or so, no bluewater stuff, all shore/reef dives.

Well I've always used Omer products, not nec. preference but thats what my dad always used and I've never strayed away from it. But same here I started out at about 12 and have been spearfishing since (22 now).

For the Tuna though I did diversify, that was my first time fishing with an Andre believe it was a midhandle 160

one pic for the road, biggest Hogfish I've ever seen (thing looked even bigger underwater) And about the face thing. just not too big on putting my face on the internet part of being raised in the 90s I guess

not sure if the pic'll load up, 'twas a shore dive on an underwater cliff, goes from 3 feet deep to about 85 feet, then has a huge cave at the bottom, i like to go down and wait around in the top of the cave to see what pokes their head out of the holes in the side

and this is my alltime favourite fish to hunt, cero mackerel, there are a LOT up to about 4 lbs or so, then when you get deep on the sand bottom near big chunks of rock (60-80 foot prefferable) you find the big ones cruising, you can see my beuchat in the pic, 110cm single 16mm band single wrap of mono shooting a short spear (not the usual euro overhang) its deadly out to about 15 feet from the speartip with this combo
