Wtf is that light you have on the right side. It looks kinda like a desk lamp? I might move that zoo colony closer if your trying to nurse them along. It does look nice so far. What are you thinking is your next move for it.

i got a new light set up but im going to return the t8 bulb and get 10000k bulbs so it can make them grow better and if my dads available today im going to get some fish to cycle it off

Fake plant and move that giant powerhead at least to the back of the tank...now it looks a little crazy right up front.

I would also get some smaller pieces of rock to work with.

get yourself a clean up crew ASAP
nerite, nasarius, and blue legs maybe margarita snails too

You work with what you have and can afford.. There are certain things you need to make sure it stays up and running right, but it looks like you are on the rt patch.
I would move the powerhead to the back area. Your stock may not want to try and swim in that much current, so if you dont want them to hang at the back of the tank, Id move the powerhead to the back so your stock will more than likly want to swim at the front of your tank.
Might when you get some extra cash, get a clean up crew to start with. Diatoms are prob going to start growing in the tank soon. Esp with that lighting.
Then you may want to also get live plants. They will help with your Nitrate reduction. Live plants dont cost to much, so when you can afford them, Id swap out the fake for live.
Just a few things to get you started.
