Well, I'm now officially up and running on my 20H indo tank. It's got a long ways to go, though I'm in no rush. I've always felt setting up the tank is the best part of fish keeping. It's a nice change of pace for me not to rush into buying everything at once, since I can no longer do that financially.

Here's a couple of shots of the tank, and the 1" indo dats I picked up the other day.

Yes, that's an Emperor 400 on a 20 gallon! I bit much for the tank, but it was a brand new filter I had from years ago, that I never used. I have the flow set on a lower rate.

(Sorry for the blurry pic! This is my first attempt at some tank shots, I'm not pleased. I'm guessing I'll be using the timer and tripod next time! Or maybe increasing my ISO speed...I'll see what works.)

They are feeding well on frozen Hikari red mosquito larva. Any tips on switching them to accept pellets? They didn't touch them at the store. I figure I'd mix the two at feeding time. Possibly dumping a little of the frozen food melt off water while feeding the pellets?

As of right now, the plans are to add some pea gravel and laterite mixture. Toss in a number of plants, a clown loach and possibly a few small barbs.
