The stupidest thing ever done.

Back when I started the hobby, I bought a baby aro, and a baby blackghost knife fish, and stuck the in a 30g tank . After a month, and a bit of reaserch later, I returned them, thinking about how stupid I had been. So yes everyone, there is someone out there stupier than you. Me.

I tried to keep a giant water bug once, lost the use of my hand for a couple days due to the swelling, if I had looked them up first I would have found out just how bad they can bite.

i know a guy who keeps a silver arrow , a soptted gar, a ornate bichir, a tsn, and a royal clown knife in a 60 gal. He thinks its big enough - _ -

I once bought 3 red snakeheads channa micropeltes to go in a tank with polypterus and gars with no other advice than they may grow big.A round trip of 100 miles 3 hours later and they had them back.I dont think there are any of us that havent done anything dumb at sometime (although we will mostly deny it)

There are lots of stupid fish store owners out there too...I worked for one...lol....We would get people coming in and asking how many oscars can they keep in a 55 gallon tank...The owner would be like, OH...you could keep 5 of them in there....They will stop growing due to the tank size, then you will have miniture Oscars! I almost broke out in laughter....This guy had no clue! I was like, dude...how could you even own a pet store? I broke into the conversation, and told him 2....but then you need a bigger tank.....He did not buy the Oscars....but I sold him some cichlids instead!

Oscars are Cichlids, and most Cichlids out there get Oscar size.

When I was 8 I raised a Jack Dempsey in a 10 gallon. He grew from 2" to 7" over a 2 year span. I donated it to my freinds science teacher who moved it into its own 55 gallon.

Used a portable electric heater with a dial temp control to heat my fishroom,escaped iguana climbing on heater spun the temp to max.120f in fishroom cooked 20+ tanks of fish

Oscars are Cichlids, and most Cichlids out there get Oscar size.

I know that silly....I should have been a little more clear on what kind...But I sold him some....labs....julies....some demasonis....If memory serves me corectly, I think he only got 2 of each.....
