the trials of breeding...sigh...Our blue rams have laid eggs twice. After doing research... the first time eggs were laid, we opted to take the parents out. The eggs turned fuzzy. A couple days ago, eggs again, this time we left the parents in, and the eggs developed- (little tails protruding out of the eggs) UNTIL......... the parents ate them. So when this happens again, which will be a week or two(as the pattern goes), we are opting to take the parents out....

sorry to tell you but.... patience is needed. me myself had to have trial and error... with Goldfish and Corydoras (egg layers). :D
i noticed that in goldfish... need some plants or something they can lay the egg. at first i saw the goldfish laying then i took them out and place them in a tiny 5 gallon bucket (detergent bucket hehehe) with a plant... layed eggs... then i took them out in 48 hours... placed an airstone and heater. another 2-3 days i saw the babies and so forth. :WHOA:
with the corydoras... not much luck... layed eggs and transfered to the 5 gallons... layed again... waited 48 hours... they ate all the eggs  :screwy:
as much as i read.... can't beat personal experience.... some say this some say that... but it helps to read more and more... good luck! :grinyes:
