Chitala lopis & RCK are very close spcies. Both of them have black skin at the base of cheek fins and have stripe too.
I have a chance to take pic of chitala lopis (1m) that LFS just put them into glasstank, before its apated color to dark black like normal lopis.
Many chilala lopis at small size have small stripe or many small spots but not clearly like RCK. And almost fade when bigger or look similar with normal color of C lopis in aquarium.
One week later, I came back and found only 2 black monster chitala lopis.
Nothing look like pic that I took before.
