24"er would be 4 times as much as the 6"er

Look up buying plants online. You will see that larger plants typically sell for more money. Depending on species, it can be a bit. Rotala on the otherhand, grows quick under most conditions, is easily propagated and is overall a cheap plant. You will probably get more money selling 4 bunches of 6" clippings than you would for one 24" bunch. If you have a giant anubias or other "Mother" slow growing plant or hard to grow plant than it would certainly cost more. a 6" sword is cheap, a mother 24" sword is probably 3x the price. You will also get a considerable amount more money for plants like java fern or anubias if they are already attached to rocks or driftwood. $5 anubias attached to $2 rock(or $5 driftwood) sells for 15-20$ ($10 would be a lucky low price to find)

:duh: Why would you sell a 24" a for the same price as a 6"?

Again, not helping. I do not need your help on math. I never said sell 24" for same 6". I said does a 24" strand have a higher value than a bunch of 6" strands. Bunch as in 4. Convert: 'I said does a 24" strand have a higher value than a bunch of 6" strands' to 'I said does a 24" strand have a higher value than 4 6" strands'. As in is the following statement true? 24" strand > 4x 6" strands

No you did not say "a 24" strand" you said "a few 24" strands" which is no different then "a bunch" without stating specific numbers. You also asked "if they" which indicates more then one. Common sense would dictate that something mature, established and grown larger would be worth more then it's original "clippings" state. :duh:

You seem to come up with threads whether you know the answer or even if the answer is obvious. Are you really that bored or just have no social life whatsoever. Very sad.
