Here is my challenge to all you MFKr's, lets see who can do the quickest water change. Here's what I want to know
1) how many gallons?
2) how long did it take (this requires you to time yourself)
3) how do you do it? (Buckets, python, DIY)

The person with the most gallons in the shortest time will be the champion. The official time will be recorded as gallons per minute. So if you change 300 gallons and it took you 20 minutes your time would be 15 gallons per minute.

I am having a friend build me a water changing system to replace my "bucket" method so I can't report a time yet. I will as soon as its finished.

So who's first?! Lets get it going!

I have a pump that pumps around 2800gph hook it up to the tank and then outside and push it out side. I do 100g then I fill it back up with the same pump. I'm to lazy to figure out the math. 2800gph ÷100g = minutes it takes to empty and fill

Are these bare bottom tanks or something coz it takes me an hour to do 70 gal whilst vacuuming the gravel at the same time. And to refill
