So I've been lurking here for a long long time... then signed up years ago planning on getting active again... but just remained a lurk. Here is to finally breaking that trend!!

Can you siphon the tank water out through that window behind your tank? it'd be much easier.
Using a Python is an option, but they dispose of excess clean water at same time. I siphon dirty water outside (or it can go down a drain) and hookup to faucet for refilling.
 
Lol cool time lapse but isn't that white plastic box a dish rack? Meaning there's a sink right on the other side of the counter?? Instead of draining into a bucket u should just stick the end of the tube down the drain! But a python is seriously one of the best things u could spend 40 bucks on, then u wouldn't need buckets to refill either ;)
 
No No no I prefer the bucket... =)

I'm manager at aquarium service company. I have TONS of pythons and pumps at my disposal. But I prefer the bucket method on my home tanks =)
 
LOL I knew you guys would mention my bucket method. I'm a manager at an aquarium service company... I have access to TONS of python hoses and pumps... I own probably like 5 myself... I just prefer the bucket method on my home tanks. It's my therapy. Plus a little work out won't kill you... =)
