A few quick pics of the crayfish I caught using a hand net through some puddles at a mates property. I quarantined them for 2 weeks, fed the small ones to the Barras and the really small ones to my spangled perch. I will try to breed the larger ones, fingers crossed.
Enjoy.

Good idea for food source and maybe some income. I like the blue claws!!!

Thanks guys. Blue claw are fairly common in my area, as well as redclaw.

They fight a little bit, not too much though. I will be setting up another 2 tanks and seperate them into smaller groups.

You need to tell me your address so I can come around with a few drinks. That's only fair as you are supplying the tucker.mmmmmmmlol:)

In all seriousness, they are good eating. My fish are lucky to see some smaller ones as I can't help eating the rest myself:drool:
