Theraps intermedium experience

I have 3 of these fish and, with the largest now at 4", I still keep them isolated from each other and other cichlids. For a Theraps, they are quite aggressive. They dislike change in the environment, eat like Oscars, and I'm told they mate at a relatively large size.

Anyone with experience and advice?

I haven't heard of Theraps Intermedium nor Paratheraps Intermedium.. are you speking of Chuco?

either Way I believe Mojarraman keeps and cares for them Careful though.. He is not the most pleasant Joker .....

Last time I heard that genus mentioned was in the late 70's, when a dead, black, H. temporalis was mistakenly identified as a new "All Black" cichlid, and dubbed Chuco Axelrodi. Where have I been?

Added a tank divider with a male and female and the divider is barely holding its own. Perhaps adding a mature dovii as a target fish would help.
