...out there amongst us. I have a breeder/hobbyist give me 8 Blue Gene Jack Dempseys. 2 of which are about 5-6" Male and Female. The others are smaller, looks to be 2-3 females out of the whole group.

He also gave me a dozen+ Rainbow Cichlids, juvies about 1". These were brought up by his friend that lives here in Fresno (how convenient) so I went and picked them up. Jacks were in a nice lid bucket, and Rainbows were in Kordon bags and in styro box.

He gave me all this for FREE....one Hobbyist to another. WOW

that was definitely awesome of him! thats why its so great to live in an area where there actually is an active cichlid community because you get people like that just trying to help out a fellow hobbyist, its great to have other people interested in the same stuff that you can trade fish with everything
 
Great story! Its nice to see people out there helping to keep our hobby alive by just being nice people.
 
Thats awesome Calihawk. We have a hand full of big Cich hobbyist up here in the Northwest, but it sounds nothing like down there. Hey nice RTM in your avatar. I am looking for a nice looking male, around 8", if you know of any being available.
