So my red tiger montague and my Texas hybrid are trying to breed again what's the best way of getting the eggs possibly moved into a mother tank so nothing gets ate all of the eggs are on the undergravel filter here's a pic uploadfromtaptalk1344228174544.jpguploadfromtaptalk1344228195700.jpg

I'd wait to see black dots on the eggs, (can't tell by the pic) to be sure eggs have been fertilized then remove parents. Interesting combo. Hope they hatch.
 
Ya gotta look again one I get home but don't think the male is properly fertilizing the eggs this is like the 4th or 5th time trying and they haven't had any luck

if u cant get the eggs next time put flat pieces of rock down over the bottom plate and or try clay pots, had the same problem a few years ago dealing with a blood parrot and a red devil hybrid, but yeah id try the slate thing or just putting big enough rocks over the bottom plate making it hard to get to it, make sure the rocks are to big to move though, hopefully they hatch, looks like a nice combo!
