So I am planning on eventually having a tank with all my favorite livebearers (that can't hybridize)
This list includes gambusia holbrooki "melanistic", poecilia velifera, xiphophorus montezumae, and poecilia wingei "staeck".

Now the problem is, if you notice the two poecilia on there, hybridization. But then it's the smallest poecilia species with the largest. They can't possibly hybridize, right? I mean maybe a small male velifera with a very large female wingei but then again velifera sexually matures at a very decent size so I can't imagine them still being able to breed. What do you think?

Hmm....well I've definitely heard of anecdotes where somebody had a guppy molly hybrid. And depending on who you ask, Endler's livebearers are a subset of guppies...or their own species (it's still complicated). I wouldn't do it if I was worried about hybridization. I'd also be worried about overcompetition over time, with the smaller P. wingei being eaten/outcompeted over time by the more aggressive Gambusia.

I know I have 2 muppies atm. They were made from a female endler x guppy cross, and a male molly. Granted the muppies can't reproduce so I don't have to worry about them making more but it was honeslty pretty neat to see what the combo made. One is roughly the size of an average molly, grey with dark spot/stripes and a blue sheen, while the other one is roughly the size of a small platy and ended up bright yellow with a black tail and neon blue tiger stripes.

Honestly I would imagine OP having to seperate all the species just to make certain of no cross breeding.

I know for a fact gambusia can't cross to poecilia, xipho. can't cross to poecilia, and xipho. can't cross to gambusia, so I'm good in that regard. I currently have a tank with limia tridens, xipho. pygmaeus, g.holbrooki (normal colors), and girardinus metallicus. no risk, no worry there
