About breeding plecos. I have had countless African cichlids fry over the years but this is the first time I have looked at my tank and saw little white plecos all over the tank. So far I have counted 10. Albino bristlenose which from reading are fairly easy to breed but still incredibly cool to me.

It means that both parents contained the gene of albinism, thus a percentage of their offspring will be albino.
I've found the albinos are generally weaker as fry and harder to raise up.

I have yet to spot one that is not albino. I have a 3d background and I keep finding more in the crevices.

Are the parents all albino? Regular ancistrus fry are really hard to spot, and if you have a 3rd background, they will get in there.

No. City water. The Albino plecos bred immediately after I transplanted the female from a different tank to this one. As soon as I dropped her in the male was all over her.
