Hi,
I am on my way to set my 100g tank.I will be a cichlid tank with rocks.
Was thinking can i use thermocol sheets on the base and topped with gravel.
Is thermocol is inert. Or any other idea.undergravel filter covers is costly and
egg crate i am unable to find.:irked:

Ideas ideas friends:mwave:

What is the thermocol going to be used for?
Just a buffer between the bottom of the tank so you don't have to use as much gravel?
Or to insulate?
I might just be dumb, but couldn't you just add more gravel?

Anyways, I wouldn't add it, on the wiki for it, it says it's harmful to humans, the chemicals might leak into the water column.

Hmm, Got my answer, actually i want to use as a layer between the glass and the rocks, so that might if a rock slips it wont break the glass. can i use any other thing. apart from
thermocol,
