these 2 fish together?

You should seporate them if you think the bass could be eaten.
Green sunfish can be aggressive.

as long as the bass is bigger than the green's mouth it will be fine, same thing happened with me when i got my lmb, lmb was 2.5" and green was 3.5"

Green Sunfish have pretty big mouths.

He's not going to eat the bass if they are actually that size. Some people aren't very good at estimating size though so I don't wanna get your fish eaten by saying "Yeah, go ahead and put them in together", lol.

He may be aggressive towards the bass though. It depends on your greens personality. He also may TRY to eat it even though he can't get it all the way down, in which case he could still injure or kill it.

all i know is the green devours pretty big minnows like no other and he killed a medium sized crawdad he didnt eat it just killed it...

Dont underestimate how aggersive Greens are...
They can be VERY mean
