I know this is MFK but I have lot's of stuff that wouldn't qualify as a monster and wanted to share. Some of the smaller fish are just as interesting colorful and aggressive as the big stuff.... feel free to ask any questions and I am sorry some of the tanks are not as clean as my display tanks.

Let's start here... this is one of my most reclusive residents so I had to grab a pic while he was out L114

Next Up is one of my newest acquisitions and something that just started showing up in the hobby this year
Synaptolaemus latofasciatus - Red line headstanders- I know the lines look yellow lol but they kinda look red sometimes.

Here are some of the different angel fish I have first altums- then leopaldi and finally some domestic half black veils I am growing out

These are pretty cool- I know your thinking who keeps a sword tail... but these are high fin red eye red albinos lol

Another relatively new addition and one I wanted for a while African Tiger Scat

That is enough for now ... and I may add some more later ... but I just wanted to show you do not need to have a million gallon tank to have some cool fish!

Really! I've always liked Scats but thought they were all brackish. I might have to look further into these guys. :) Can you tell me about yours? What size tank, how big is yours, what tankmates, temperament?

Yup- they are the only fresh water one - they are a bit pricey and actually were not available for the last couple years ( ICHIBAN TROPICAL FISH ICHIBAN TROPICAL FISH has them now for sale) he is about 4 nches and in a 125 gallon community tank with a lot of barbs, plecos, clown loaches and some less agressive cichlids (geos robertsoni a cichla grow out etc) they are rlatively easy going but may be a fin nipper on slow moving long finned fish. Really pretty fish and reminds me of a salt water butterfly fish... fun fact i did not know untili got him .. they eat beard algae!

Great pics collection and pics Jay. Love the Altums, Head Standers and the Tiger Scat. Thank for the heads up to about the Scat eating beard algae, good to know; I could use a beautiful algae eater to help me with my beard problem.

Nice pics dude...love the angels when do we get to see more

Thanks for the info Jay. Nice little perk about the beard algae. Do you think the scats would be nippy with angels?
