And he's a little scary!

I gave up the dream of ever having Discus, and decided to have a few good tempered cichilds instead. I moved over my Midas/Red Devil, who is about 7", my 4" Green Terror Male, and a little female Convict I affectionately call "Pissy Missy". The cichilds were in a tank with other cichlids and over time, I've gotten rid of anything that showed aggression. I've had them all for at least 6 months and know each of them very well. The Midevil, is my favorite for many reasons, but his most endearing trait was that he had a Syno cat buddy and they would sleep together in the same cave. Sadly, I split them up, but Syno's and Loaches just don't mix in my experience. None of the 3 have charged or chased any of the Loaches, but they are a little apprehensive of their new big tank mates.

I can't help but play the jaws music in my head when I see him come out of the pot and meandor over and when he moves towards them and they all jump in the cave. The cichild doesn't seem to know why he's the gray duck, and though the loaches are wary, they seems to be diggin' on his moves. Ps. Upgrade coming soon! ;)
