My bichirs like to poop RIGHT after I finish a water change. I have a bare bottom tank so I KNOW I get everything when I do the poop vac. Its clean, I dump in new water... walk away for five minutes, and I come back to a large turd or two. Grr... spiteful things!

Pooping is healthy...you don't want them to be constipated then die of bloat.
