Hi Guys,

I'm curious which member of the amphilophus species you believe are the thickest/stockiest in terms of girth. I know that Chancho are the longest TL, but which get the widest, typically?

Chancho
Amarillo
Hoga
Lyonsi
Trimac
Citrinellum?

Thank you,
Matt

Out of the crater lake amphilophus, a chancho and a xiloaensis are generally the bulkest. A amarillo is a similar build to citrinellus. A hogaboomorum I am not sure about but for a guess it would be slightly slimmer due to it coming from a river. In any case there isn't much difference between any of them and in isolation you probably won't be able to tell the difference.
Lyonsi and trimac are both similar to each other but more distant from the rest of the Amphilophus family.
