Thin Gymnogeophagus

I have 4 balzanii (captive bred) and 2 paso pache II (WC)

Their stomachs are slightly concave instead of flat or rounded out; is this normal? They eat and behave normally, and have been like this for a few months at least. The Crenicichla minuano looks normal.
I feed them once or a twice per day.

My Balzanii are very fat. I feed flake in morning and Very small (1mm) Kens sinking pellets in eve.

If they are in a cooldown they may not be as active and wont eat as much.
