Would a thin bar dat 5" be compatible with 2-6" jacks 1- 6" texas 1-5" leporinus and a 12" fire eel 1-10" id shark? in a hundred gallon for a year until I am FORCED:headbang2 to get a bigger tank?

What is a general rule of thumb for stocking a tank 1" per gallon? OR would you say with what I have is overstocked? I understand that some of the fish I have still have a lot of growing to do yet. But I am talking about the size they are currently. thanks in advanced!!!-Mike

What kind of jacks are they?

Regular Jack Dempsey i guess the picture is on the left.

THey use to be pretty aggressive until my red devil died...you might of read what happened to him. Ever since they hide and the texas which is a little bit smaller runs the tank. Y

I didn't know you meant dempseys, I thought you meant Mangrove Jacks.

try it and monitor agression or any fish picking on another. pull em out if u see anything to crazy, lil nit pickin could almost certainly happen

you should not have a problem but you might have better luck in a larger tank I had a jd with my thin bar and I had no probs I ditched my jd though not for aggression reasons just boring
