a girlfriend who happens to be a nurse to take care of you

a dad and a brother who are in the hobby to take care of you're fish

and a few days at home

Im not exactly sick, but ive got the rest of the week off as i trapped the end of my index finger in a big metal frame and have badly bruised the bone, instant black nail and i cant pick up my work tools properly:(. I Do get to spend some quality time on my tanks tho. And yes i do wish i had a nurse girlfriend, id tell her to leave the uniform on while 'caring' for me :naughty:

For 6 weeks in May and June, I was sick in bed and could barely move. Had flu like symptoms, turned into pneumonia, back to a horrible cold.

Anyway, I was blessed with a niece who not only is going to be a nurse, but helps me with the fish whenever I need help, as she loves them as much as I do. I don't know what I would have done without her. Wish I could share her ;) She not only took complete care of me, but she did all the work on my 15 tanks. After she was done taking care of me, she would go over and help her mom.

I am always thankful every new day I wake up and still feel alive, good, and then great after having been diagnosed with incurable Leukemia almost 5 years ago, now.

Always thankful for being married to an ICU nurse who's been very supportive and knowing she'll be there when I actually start dying.

I am doing great, so far, actually, in case somebody wants to know and hoping Medical Science will catch up with me someday before I call in sick.

For the time being all one can do is keep feeding the fishes, do water changes for them and keep doing all the other fun stuff!
