Think i can keep a Red Star Flower Horn with my Xingu 1?

What size is the flowerhorn, & the orange Pike? We kept our trio of Cobras in a tank with a breeding pair of flowerhorns for a few months. The pikes are quicker, usually can elude the slower flowerhorns. They would raid the swarm of fry, eventually clean them out - the flowerhorns hated them... The trick was having enough cover - rock shelves, driftwood, etc., for the pikes to hide under. I really wouldn't recomend keeping them together, we lost one Cobra when we were out of town cuz he really messed up an eye, probably escaping the angry flowerhorns. Good luck whatever you do....
Screw that then,i don't like seeing my fish stressed from evading/fighting.The thing is a damn red devil hybrid if i'm not mistaken,so that alone is asking for it!!!!
I've got my Xngu 1 in with a tilapia buttikoferi. It's the only thing that will mix without fighting.
If your thinkin of gettin that fish from somethingsphishy...don't. They really screw you on shippin. The fihs prices are aight, but shippin is crazy stupid.
As for keepin them together, I don't see why not. Long term not to sure how well it will work out for yaz...as both species have high tendencies of being overly aggressive. Give it a shot, if it doesn't work out for you get a divider or get another tank...haha. One great reason to upgrade. Key thing is gonna be space...the more space there is in the tank the better your chances. Be sure to include some dithers as well...Firemouths are cheap and make great dithers, not to mention great lookin. For you though, i would try some spanner barbs!! They get large, are unique, and are quick.
